I have to start this of by letting everyone know that I was an A student and was on the Honor roll 3 months in a row (the last 3 months of school). I believed everything that Anthem Institute told me that they have great instructors and great career services (They would help you look for a "job") I went to Anthem to get my Billing and Coding Diploma little that I know joining there would be my biggest regrets.
They told me (career services) that they would provide me a good place to do my extern/intern or I can choose a place of my own. So I decided to get my own site but they told me that I couldn't because I needed to tell them a month ahead. Next then you know I am sent to a crappy site in the city with computers from the 80's and ants all over my desk. My first week there I get a phone call from the site that I chose to go in the first place that all the information form the school is done and that I start there next month (How is that possible when I'm already in the crappy site where they send me) basically they used my contact that I FOUND for their own needs.
On top of that I had to miss my graduation because the hour they gave my graduation was during my extern/intern so I never made it. But once I finished my extern/intern i go back to school to see if they give me my diploma and I had to wait over a month til they decided to give it to me (can't do much without your diploma) and on top of that I'm still unemployeed for 3 long months and I owe the school 7 thousands.
I suggest go to a community college and get it for free and your associate degree will be worth more then an institute diploma. GOOD LUCK and I hope this helps all who are thinking joining in Anthem Institute in NEW YORK.

I had a Great experience,I did my training in the Jersey city campus in the evenings while i worked a dead end job.The lady in admission told me exactly what i was getting (for the most part)we are now in a middle of a recession and i work full time and i work for myself on the weekend (independent side money) thanks to what I learned at Chubb Institute now Anthem Institute .I think that if you apply yourself you get what you pay for if you do not you will waste your money. I know of a few people who had good experiences and i know people who are not working.my student loan is $68.59 per month.witch i can afford no problem

I wanted a successful career in the healthcare field and that is exactly what I got. I recently graduated from the Cherry Hill campus and I have already started to received tuition reimbursement from the hospital i work at to go back and get my R.N. If you apply yourself and work with the the different departments they make available for you, you can definately get a good job in your career field. I loved my experience there. The teachers were great, the labs were fun and the environment was very nice. I would reccommend anyone to the Cherry Hill campus for any of their programs, especially Medical Assistant!

I am a student at the anthem institute in Jersey City, NJ. I am a very good student and my attendence is fine. And i am writing this to warn people to not attend this school, it is a complete rip off. Some of the teachers have no idea what they are talking about, when you apply they seem nice and respectful but dont be fooled. I am 23 yrs old and they treat me along with other students like children, they have no respect, they are rude. The whole school itself is very unprofessional, its a joke. Please do not waste your money and your time you will be much better off at a community college at least you will get an actually degree.....
