Admission sucks, good school though

Admissions sucks! As far as class, well I'm in my second week... it is a hybird classroom/internet... kinda like you can go home when your assignments are done kinda thing. It's very nice for working people to have a flexible schedule, only 2 or 3 days a week, and you choose between days or nights..

I took the Computer Networking Specialist class. Back then it wasn't an accredited school so it was smaller. I hear it has lots more to offer. Because it's not a huge school, the faculty really tries to help u out with school work scheduling and what not. It's alot of info to take in -in so little time, but they teach and give you the skills to do the job ur seeking by trimming the fat and giving u relevent tips tricks hints and the skills for that job. I took the night classes since I had to work during the day and then go to school at night. Unless that's changed it's nice to get higher Ed WHILE working too. They helped get me lots of finacial aid and even a few grants that cut my loan costs by ALOT. The best part is that they have an office that all they do is job search for the students and alumni for the fields they teach. They were great at it and had inside scoops since they have alumni all over the Springfield area.

The only bad thing about that school was finding a job itself- anybody and everybody are into those computer fields of work so it's tough competition out there. I wish I could go back and get my associate's degree since they're accredited now, but I'm 3 states away. Bottom line- personally- I had a cool experience there, met some cool people- professors and students- and learned lots and lots about what I went for.
