Pennsylvania Institute of Technology

Overview
Founded in 1953, Pennsylvania Institute of Technology provides accelerated professional education in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, and Healthcare via two-year Associate Degrees and Academic Certificates. With two campuses in Media and Center City, students are able to achieve career enhancement and advanced degree preparation through a solid traditional educational structure that utilizes practical experiential training along with technology and communication theory.

Student Appeal
Students receive special attention with small class sizes and individual focus from instructors. All labs are current with the most advanced technology and a variety of academic resources are available online. Student services include academic and career planning and job placement opportunities with an exceptionally high success rate. Students may also transfer certificate and Associate credentials toward the completion of more advanced degrees. The Media Campus includes a 14-acre campus with renovated classrooms while the Center City Campus is conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown Philadelphia.

Financial
Financial assistance can be accessed through the Financial Aid office and includes tuition reimbursement, financing, and federal loans, grants, and work study for qualified students. Institutional scholarships are also available to students on the basis of merit and need. Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is accredited by the Middle States commission on Higher Education.
