Sullivan College of Technology and Design

Founded in 1961, Sullivan College of Technology and Design, formerly Louisville Technical Institute, resides on a multi-million dollar campus and offers in depth training for specialized fields, such as computer technology, design, robotics, and information systems. The individualized programs offered through Sullivan College of Technology and Design meet the educational standards of the Accrediting Council of Independent College and Schools, the Kentucky State Board and the Indiana Commission for Propriety Education.

Sullivan College of Technology and Design has earned the respect of business and industry leaders throughout the industry. Sullivan's dedicated academic and career advisers work closely with area professionals and provide lifetime career services to alumni. Whether it is the day after graduation, or 10 years after graduation, career professionals will help alumni with interview tips, job strategy, and resumes. Students also enjoy the benefit of a four-day school week.

Through the 9-month, 18-month, and 24-month program, academic advisers are there to guide students through obstacles such as housing, scheduling, professional mentoring, and academic tutoring. Students of Sullivan College of Technology and Design are able to make professional connections by becoming involved with the school's chapters of The American Design Drafting Association (ADDA), The Society of Manufacturing Engineers/Robotics International (SME/RI), The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Our Associate of Applied Science Degree program, Computer Graphic Design, won a prestigious award.

The renowned American Technical Education Association (ATEA) has announced its selection of Sullivan College of Technology and Design's Computer Graphic Design degree program as the winner of its 2009 Outstanding Technical Program award.

The purpose of the award is to recognize an outstanding technical program at a postsecondary technical education institution in the United States. Sullivan College of Technology and Design was recognized for its state-of-the-art graphic design instruction as being both current and cutting edge. According to criteria set by the ATEA, the winning program must be both exemplary and contribute to the nation's workforce.
